U.S. broadband lags behind Asian nations

I’ve been updating my home network over the past couple of weeks and have been noting the terribly slow speeds that I’m paying Time Warner through the nose for.  (Around 5Mbps FYI.) Sigh. I’m sure  that media moguls somewhere are lobbying the FCC to keep speeds low in order to combat piracy…
