Liu Bolin, The Invisible Man

Fascinating work by Chinese artist Liu Bolin. In all of these examples he has painted himself “invisible.” No camera trickery or Photoshop involved. Stunning.

U.S. broadband lags behind Asian nations

i-m-in-ur-internet-cloging-ur-tubes“NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — South Korea leads the world in providing broadband services, according to a study released on Thursday. The United States did not make the top 10.”

More than a little creepy.

Democrats who voted against public option got $19 million from healthcare firms

No great surprises here. Lobbyists continue to hold sway in Washington, despite some unlikely election-year promises from Mr. Obama. As much blame as can be laid at the feet of the Republican opposition, its really the “Blue Dog” Dems that are really the problem at this point. Remember the celebration at the dawn of the era of the Democratic “filibuster-proof majority?”

A house divided against itself cannot stand.

The Raw Story has more.
